Shimmering Skies is Disney Lorcana’s Set 5. Ravensburger brought it to hobby stores on August 9, 2024 and released it everywhere on August 23, 2024. It holds 204 standard cards and 18 Enchanted printings, and every one of those 204 is a new full name, with no card repeated from the four sets before it.

The set first appeared in hobby stores, Disney Retail Stores, Storybook Store at Disneyland Paris, World of Disney at Disney Springs and Disney Pin Traders at Downtown Disney District. What is the set about?
A party. Collectors are invited to a celebration near the Great Illuminary, with food, music and dancing. Its new faces include Wreck-It Ralph and his friends, plus Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and others from Frozen 2, set in the Enchanted Forest.
Of the 100 character names in Shimmering Skies, 36 appear in no earlier set. Among them are Wreck-It Ralph, Vanellope von Schweetz, Fix-It Felix, Jr., King Candy, Kenai and Koda. The other 64 come back in new versions: Anna, for one, has three here, Mystical Majesty, Eager Acolyte and Diplomatic Queen. So the full name, character plus version, is what tells two cards apart.
How many cards are in Shimmering Skies?

Do the Enchanted numbers follow the card order?
Yes, in this set. 5-205 is the Enchanted version of card 5-3, a Legendary Prince Naveen, and 5-222 is the Enchanted Bad-Anon - Villain Support Center, card 5-203, with the other 16 in between in card order. That is not true of every set: our Whispers in the Well guide shows neighbors trading places. Read the number printed on the card either way.
Are any Shimmering Skies cards reprints?
No, by full name. No standard card repeats a full name from Sets 1 to 4. A character seen before always appears here as a new version. That is the opposite of Fabled, Set 9, where most cards repeat names from the first four sets, as our Fabled guide sets out.

What should you check before you buy?
- A 5 in front of the number. The set number separates a Shimmering Skies card from a different version of the same character elsewhere.
- The full name. Anna alone has three versions in this set, so a listing should give the version and the number.
- A number above 5-204 for an Enchanted card. The number in the title and the one on the card in the photos should agree.

How do you check Shimmering Skies card prices?
