Lorcana Enchanted cards and booster box contents
What Lorcana's Enchanted, Epic and Iconic cards are, what each pack and box holds, and which card rates Ravensburger publishes: none for Enchanted cards.
By the Rip.fan Editorial Team.
Published 6 min readAn Enchanted card is one of Disney Lorcana’s rarest printings: a rare version of a card from the same set, in an art style that Ravensburger changes from set to set. A standard booster pack holds 12 cards, and a booster display box holds 24 packs, 288 cards in all. Ravensburger publishes how many Epic and Iconic cards each set has.
What rarities does Lorcana have?
Lorcana has eight rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Legendary, Epic, Enchanted and Iconic. Each card shows its rarity as a symbol, a mark of how common the card is in the set it was printed in.
Fabled introduced two new rarities and changed a third:
| Rarity | What it looks like | How many per set |
|---|---|---|
| Epic | Tinted text and holofoil icons, art with no frame around it, and a rainbow foil | 18 |
| Iconic | Art across the whole card, 3D hot stamping and a custom foil pattern of lore stars | 2 |
Enchanted cards, since Fabled, have rainbow foil hot stamping and a holofoil-stamped rarity symbol, with an art style that changes by set.
Epic sits between Legendary and Enchanted: rarer than the first, more common than the second. Iconic cards are the rarest of all. Epic and Iconic date to 2025, starting with Fabled as the ninth set. Our glossary entry on Enchanted covers the symbol in more detail, and alternate art explains the term across card games.
What does each 2026 set’s Enchanted look like?
Each set gives its Enchanted cards an art style of its own:
| Set | Prerelease | Everywhere | Enchanted style |
|---|---|---|---|
| Winterspell | February 13, 2026 | February 20, 2026 | A frost foil effect. The two Iconic cards, of Moana and Pocahontas, use a papercut style |
| Wilds Unknown | May 8, 2026 | May 15, 2026 | Lore Nouveau, an illustrated style built around the set’s sense of adventure |
| Attack of the Vine | July 17, 2026 | July 24, 2026 | Inspired by pulp movie posters of the 1950s to the 1970s |
| Hyperia City | October 16, 2026 | October 23, 2026 | Dramatic after-dark lighting, scenes of a night out in the city |
Ravensburger writes the third set’s name with an exclamation point, and this guide leaves it off. For Hyperia City, its press release of September 22, 2026 adds that the two Iconic cards, of Mickey Mouse and Cinderella, use the same style as the Enchanted cards.

How do you confirm an Enchanted card?
Read the bottom of the card, where the rarity symbol sits next to the collector number. In the Comprehensive Rules, version 2.3.0, a card’s collector number, set number, language and rarity symbol count as ancillary information. The number after the slash counts the set’s unique standard cards. Enchanted, Epic and Iconic printings carry collector numbers above that count, so a number higher than the total is the first sign. Then check the symbol and the art against the set’s card list.
What is in a Lorcana booster pack?
Twelve cards. Both standard packs and the new collector boosters hold 12 cards of all rarities. A distributor, Asmodee UK, breaks each Wilds Unknown pack down by position:
- 6 Common cards
- 3 Uncommon cards
- 2 cards at Rare or higher
- 1 foil card of random rarity
Hyperia City packs also hold a marketing card each.
What comes in a booster box and the other products?
Ravensburger sells a set’s packs in several products:
| Product | Booster packs | What else is inside |
|---|---|---|
| Booster display box | 24 | None listed; 288 cards in all |
| Illumineer’s Trove | 8 | A storage box and accessories |
| Prerelease box | 6 | A promo card, small accessories and a set-themed extra, such as a map of the city for Hyperia City |
Some sets add a store promo. For Wilds Unknown, Ravensburger offered a promo card of Dash Parr to buyers of a booster display box at a local hobby store. Check each set’s page, because these offers change from set to set. Our glossary explains what makes a promo card.
A booster box is sealed product, so buy it with the maker’s seal intact, and check that the pack count on a listing matches 24.
What card rates does Ravensburger publish?
Ravensburger publishes three kinds of figure:
- Counts per set. 18 Epic cards and 2 Iconic cards.
- The order. Epic sits above Legendary and below Enchanted, and Iconic sits at the top.
- Print runs for one rarity. Illustrious cards, from 2027, come in 23 serialized copies each.
For Attack of the Vine, Ravensburger says only that digging into packs may unearth an Enchanted card. A listing that promises an Enchanted card in a sealed box promises more than Ravensburger does.
What changes with collector boosters in 2027?
Into the Inkdark, the first set of 2027, brings a new pack. Its prerelease is February 5 and its release February 12. Ravensburger first described the collector booster at D23 on August 15, 2026:
- All foil. Twelve cards, every one of them foil.
- A new rarity. Illustrious cards appear only in collector boosters. There are 6 per set, each serialized and printed in 23 copies, with art by well-known artists in their own styles and a prominent artist credit. They are the first serialized Lorcana cards.
- More of the top rarities. Enchanted and Iconic cards turn up much more often than in a standard pack, with no figure given.
- Limited outlets. They debut at select participating stores and Disney locations.
By Rip.fan’s arithmetic, 6 Illustrious cards at 23 copies each makes 138 Illustrious copies per set in total. Our glossary entry on serial-numbered cards explains how a stamped print run works, and our guide to Magic Collector Boosters shows how Wizards of the Coast lists what its premium pack holds.
Cosmic Quest follows in the second quarter of 2027, or spring.
How do you price an Enchanted card?
By its exact printing. One card can exist as a Common and as an Enchanted reprint, each with its own collector number and its own price. Rip.fan’s price pages do not cover Lorcana, so use the sold-price method in our guide to finding what a card sold for. Match the set, the collector number and the condition, take the middle of several recent sales, and write down the date.
