Booster box

A booster box is a sealed case of booster packs from one set, sold as a single item. An English Pokémon box usually holds 36 packs, and the maker's label states the count.

Also called Booster display.

In more detail

Shops also call it a booster display. The standard English Pokémon box holds 36 packs. Japanese boxes are smaller and differ by product: a standard set has 30 packs, and some products come in boxes of 10 or 20.

Not every set has one. Some special sets are sold only inside other products, such as Elite Trainer Boxes, tins and collection boxes, and the English 30th Celebration set has no booster box at all. A listing that offers a box of such a set deserves a second look.

A box is sealed product, so its condition matters. On the resale market, check the film and seams and compare the pack count on the listing with what the product should hold.
