An extra booster is One Piece’s smaller themed set, coded EB. Bandai lists five: four already out in Japan and three in English, with EB-05 dated October 30, 2026 in English and October 31 in Japan. Japan’s EB-04 has no English product of its own outside Asia. Each set lists 61 to 87 card types. Bandai counts 21 Rares in every one, with no Uncommon line in its rarity counts, so the sets differ mainly in their Leaders and Special cards.

Which extra boosters has Bandai released?

Prices are per pack, and the Japanese prices include tax. The days column is Rip.fan’s arithmetic.

Code Name English release Japanese release Days between
EB-01 Memorial Collection May 3, 2024, $4.49 January 27, 2024, 220 yen 97
EB-02 Anime 25th Collection May 9, 2025, $4.99 January 25, 2025, 220 yen 104

EB-04 Egghead Crisis No English product of its own outside Asia January 31, 2026, 220 yen None
EB-05 One Piece Heroines Edition vol.2 October 30, 2026, $4.99 October 31, 2026, 240 yen English a day earlier

Each set has a theme:

  • EB-01 was the first extra booster, with three new multicolor Leaders.
  • EB-02 marks the anime’s 25th anniversary. Bandai says in English that all its cards have new art by artists from the TV anime, and in Japanese that many do. It adds a new Monkey D. Luffy Leader.
  • EB-03 features the series’ heroines, with a new Nefeltari Vivi Leader.
  • EB-04 gathers many characters from the Egghead arc.
  • EB-05 is the second heroines set.

Our One Piece set release dates guide places these among the numbered boosters.

How many card types does each extra booster have?

Rarity EB-01 EB-02 EB-03 EB-04 EB-05
Leader 3 1 1 1 7
Common 28 29 29 29 29
Rare 21 21 21 21 21
Super Rare 8 9 9 9 9
Secret Rare 1 1 2 1 1
Card types 61 87 71+4 67+1 75+2

Special cards number 26 in EB-02, 9 in EB-03, 6 in EB-04 and 8 in EB-05.

The figure after the plus sign is the DON!! cards: 4 for EB-03, 1 for EB-04 and 2 for EB-05. EB-02 is the odd one: its English count is 87 card types, while its Japanese count is 87+1, with no DON!! card named in its rarity list.

The core barely moves. All five list 21 Rares, and all but EB-01 list 29 Commons and 9 Super Rares. None lists an Uncommon, a rarity the numbered boosters carry: the Japanese OP-15 has 30. Our guide to One Piece rarities shows how each rarity is marked on the card.

What are the Special cards in each set?

The Special card count is where the sets differ most. Each one reads differently on the card list:

Set Special cards What they are
EB-01 None No card is labeled SP
EB-02 26 26 entries with earlier products’ numbers, all of them Leader cards: 3 from EB-01, 5 from OP-05 and 6 each from OP-06, OP-07 and OP-08
EB-03 9 Nine SP versions, one for each of the set’s own nine Super Rares
EB-04 6 Two carry EB04 numbers and four carry numbers from EB-01, OP-11 and PRB-02, in the Japanese set

EB-05 has 8 special cards.

On that reading, EB-02’s Special cards are why its card list runs longer than its own numbers: each shares a number with a Leader from an earlier product.

How many versions are on each English card list?

More than the card type counts. Bandai counts types, and many cards also come as an alternate art version under the same number. These show as extra entries under one number, and this guide counts them as alt-art entries. Counted by entry in the English sets:

Set Card numbers of its own Alt-art entries Special card entries Total entries
EB-01 61 19 0 80
EB-02 61 18 26 105
EB-03 62 19 9 90

EB-02’s 26 Special card entries are the Leader cards with earlier products’ numbers. They are labeled Leaders, not SP, and 87 card types minus the set’s 61 own numbers leaves 26, which matches Bandai’s count of Special cards. For alt-art, the pattern is the same in all three sets. Every Leader, Super Rare and Secret Rare has at least one alt-art, and so do 6 of the 21 Rares. No Common does. EB-03’s 62 own numbers are its 71 types minus the 9 Special cards, which share numbers with its Super Rares. The parallel entry explains the other name collectors use for these versions.

Where is EB-04 in English?

Here is where the cards sit:

List EB04 numbers on it EB04 entries
Japanese EB-04 card list EB04-001 to EB04-061 81
English OP14-EB04 card list EB04-011 to EB04-041 40
English OP15-EB04 card list EB04-001 to EB04-010 and EB04-042 to EB04-061 41

Every EB04-numbered entry on the Japanese list appears on exactly one of the two English lists, and none on both. The two English lists also label SP versions with the numbers of all six EB-04 Special cards.

Two rarity labels differ between the languages. EB04-029 is an Uncommon on the English OP14-EB04 list and a Common on the Japanese list, and EB04-053 is a Rare on the English OP15-EB04 list and a Common in Japanese. Match the language when you compare sales. Our OP-15 guide maps the OP15-EB04 half in full.

What does an extra booster pack hold?

A Japanese extra booster pack holds 6 cards in all five sets. In English, EB-01 has 12 cards per pack and 24 packs per box. For later English sets, check the wrapper or see our guide to One Piece booster box contents.

For EB-02, EB-03 and EB-05, Bandai warns that one card can turn up more than once and that a full set may be hard to complete. The cards in each pack vary. EB-03’s four DON!! cards share the illustrations on the package.

How do you check an extra booster card’s price?

Rip.fan’s price pages and card price lookup cover English Pokémon cards only, so price a One Piece card from sold listings:

  1. Pin down the version. A Super Rare in EB-03 has three entries on the card list: the standard print, an alt-art and an SP version, all under one number.
  2. Match the language and the product. Two EB04 cards carry a different rarity in Japanese, and two EB04 numbers also appear in a later starter deck, ST-33.
  3. Use dated sold prices. Our guides to checking a One Piece card’s value and market, listed and sold prices explain which figure to trust.
  4. Check it is genuine. See spotting fake One Piece cards.

An unopened booster box is sealed product, so buy it with the maker’s seal intact. For Bandai’s other One Piece products, see our guides to One Piece starter decks and premium boosters, or the trading card hub.
