Panini Immaculate Collection is a high-end Panini release. In the three editions covered here, it is sold as one six-card pack per box, and five of those six cards are autograph or relic cards on average. Its rookie content splits two ways. Rookie Patch Autographs, the cards collectors call RPAs, take card numbers 101 to 142 in football. Beside them sits a family of unsigned rookie relic sets, each built on one kind of piece, such as a helmet, a glove or a cap. Not every rookie is in both: in 2025 football, Cam Ward is on the relic sets and in no autograph set.
What comes in an Immaculate box?
One pack of six cards, in each of the three editions covered here:
| 2024 football | 2025 football | 2026 baseball | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hobby box | 1 pack of 6 cards | 1 pack of 6 cards | 1 pack of 6 cards |
| Boxes per case | 6 | 6 | 6 |
| Listed per box | 5 autograph or relic cards, 1 base card or parallel | 5 autograph or relic cards, 1 base card or parallel | 5 autograph or relic cards, 1 base card or parallel |
| FOTL box extra | An autograph relic numbered to 18 or fewer and a base Emerald numbered to 35 | One Emerald card: a base Emerald numbered to 26 or an autograph relic numbered to 25 | A Purple autograph numbered to 7 or fewer and a base Purple numbered to 7 |
The 2024 football release came August 21, 2025 and the 2026 baseball release July 15, 2026.
FOTL is short for 1st Off the Line, and the 2024 football FOTL boxes are dated August 12, 2025, before the hobby box. Box contents are averages, so one box can differ from the next. Our guide to sports card sets by tier shows where one-pack boxes sit against base-set and chromium boxes.
How is the base set built?
A base set of 100 cards, every one numbered, so even the one base card in a box is limited. The runs and colors change each year:
| Version | 2024 football | 2025 football | 2026 baseball |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base card | 99 | 99 | 75 |
| Red | 65 | 75 | 35 |
| Blue | 35 | 50 | 25 |
| Gold | 10 | 10 | 10 |
| Platinum | 1 of 1 | 1 of 1 | 1 of 1 |
Emerald has a run of 35 in 2024 football, or 26 on Base Memorabilia, and 26 in 2025 football; in 2026 baseball, Purple has a run of 7 and Green a run of 5.
In 2024 football, cards 1 to 70 are base cards and 71 to 100 Base Memorabilia, which carry a relic. D’Andre Swift’s base card has a 35-copy Emerald, and Montez Sweat’s Base Memorabilia card a 26-copy one. For 2025, all 100 cards are one set that includes Base Action, Base Cleats and Base Memorabilia cards. The Emerald base cards go with FOTL boxes in both football years, and the Purple base cards with FOTL boxes in baseball.
The 2026 baseball cards carry no MLB license, so the pictures are airbrushed to take out official team or league licensing.
How do the rookie patch autographs work?
They take the card numbers right after the base set.
| Version | 2024 football (42 cards) | 2025 football (34 cards) |
|---|---|---|
| Base RPA | 99 | 99 |
| Gold | 25 | 25 |
| Emerald | 18 | 25 |
| NFL Shield | 1 of 1 | 1 of 1 |
| Platinum | 1 of 1 | 1 of 1 |
Two things follow. A 2025 RPA stamped out of 25 could be a Gold or an Emerald, so name the color, not just the run. And an Emerald RPA stamped out of 18 is a 2024 card, while one stamped out of 25 is a 2025 card.
The numbers also differ. The 2024 set fills all 42 numbers from 101 to 142, and 11 of its cards are tagged “no base”. The 2025 set holds 34 cards in the same range and leaves 8 numbers unused, and not every card comes in every version.
A second set looks similar. Immaculate Numbers Rookie Patch Autographs number their cards from 1, so a signed patch card numbered 1 is not the RPA: Sanders is card 101 in Rookie Patch Autographs and card 1 in Immaculate Numbers. Our guide to patch cards and RPAs explains what the patch piece in each version should be.
Are the signatures on the card?
Panini’s example images for both sets appear to show stickers. That covers the sample images only, so judge the card in front of you, as our guide to sticker and on-card autographs explains.
What are the rookie relic sets?
Unsigned sets built on the same 42 rookies, numbered 1 to 42, each named for the piece it holds. These are the 2025 football sets:
| Set | Cards | Main run | Other versions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clearly Immaculate Rookie Jerseys | 42 | 99 | Prime, 49; Platinum, 1 of 1 |
| Rookie Helmets | 42 | 10 | Flag, NFL Shields and Platinum, each 1 of 1 |
| Rookie Gloves | 42 | 5 | Brand Logos, 15 |
| Rookie Player Caps | 42 | 5 | Brand Logo, 3; Button and Shield, each 1 of 1 |
| Rookie Socks/Shoes | 42 | Socks, 5 | Soles, 2; four shoe and sole logo or lace versions, each 1 of 1 |
| Rookie Pigskin | 42 | 1 of 1 | Commissioner, Laces and Logo versions |
Rookie Jacket Logos run 25 or fewer, Rookie Numbers 10, Rookie Insignias 5, Rookie Authentics 2 or 1 of 1, and Rookie Shields 1 of 1, with 42 cards in each set.
The 2025 edition has 31 autograph sets besides the RPAs, and 33 relic sets. The memorabilia card entry has the short definition.
Which rookies are not signed?
Check before you assume. In 2025 football, three of the 42 players on the rookie relic lists appear in no autograph set: Cam Ward, Abdul Carter and Jaxson Dart. Ward’s cards come in 52 versions, every one a relic card.
In 2024 football the list is longer. Eight players on the rookie relic lists appear in no autograph set: Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, Bo Nix, Malik Nabers, Marvin Harrison Jr., Brock Bowers and Xavier Worthy. They are the same eight players missing from the 2024 autograph lists in our guide to Panini Contenders.
So a listing for an Immaculate RPA of one of these players does not match the checklist. Ask the seller for the set name, card number and a clear photo of the back.
How does 2026 baseball differ?
This edition has no Rookie Patch Autographs set. It holds the 100-card base set, 18 autograph sets, and 10 relic sets that hold 218 cards in all. The checklist mainly covers retired players and top prospects, and on-card signatures are stressed. Prospects get their own Immaculate Prospect Patch Autographs set of 20 cards. Cleat Peek, an 18-card relic set, comes only in one-of-one versions named for parts of a cleat: Brand Logo, Heel Logo, Laces and Tongue Logo.
How to check an Immaculate card before you buy
- Name the sport and the edition year. The 2024 football edition reached shops in August 2025.
- Read the card number. In football, 1 to 100 is the base set and 101 to 142 the RPAs.
- Name the version and match the serial number to that year’s ladder, remembering that Gold and Emerald share a run in 2025.
- Confirm the player is on that year’s autograph lists.
- Match the patch piece to the version’s name, and check how the card is signed.
- Price the exact set, version and year from recent sales, as our guide to finding what a card sold for explains.
Rip.fan’s card price lookup covers English Pokémon cards only, so sold listings are where to price Immaculate. If you plan to grade a thick patch card, the grading cost calculator lists service levels, prices and estimated waits. Our guides to Panini National Treasures and Panini Flawless cover two more one-pack boxes, and the sports cards hub lists the rest.
