Memorabilia card
A memorabilia card has a piece of an item the player wore or used set into the card, such as a jersey swatch or a patch. Collectors also call them relic cards.
Also called Relic card.
In more detail
The piece is embedded in the card, usually behind a window where the swatch of fabric is on show. Most come from jerseys, but a card can also hold a piece of a hat, a shoe or pants.
A patch card holds a swatch cut from the patches on a team jersey: common choices are the jersey number, the name plate and team or league logos. A plain jersey card holds a swatch of the jersey's fabric.
The wording on the card matters. Check whether it says worn, used, event-worn or nothing at all, and ask the seller to show it, since the same look can come from very different pieces.
