How the calculator works

A service level takes a card when it is open and the declared value is within its limit. The calculator picks the cheapest such level for each company, and the fastest one when that is a different level. A level that needs a minimum number of cards counts only once you enter that many.

Turnaround times are each company's own estimate, not a promise. Prices leave out shipping both ways and insurance, which each company prices at checkout, and any membership fee a level needs. If a company values your card above what you declared, it can move the card to a dearer level.
