Wizards of the Coast revealed Star Trek card treatments and product details on October 20, 2026. The Magic set reaches stores on November 13, 2026, with signed cards restricted to Collector Boosters.

The release spans booster buyers, sealed bundle collectors and Commander deck buyers. Its foil finishes, signed cards and ship promos appear in different products.

Prerelease events run from November 6, 2026, to November 12, 2026. The Magic release calendar also listed the store release as November 13, 2026, as of October 12, 2026.

Actor signatures and Collector Boosters

The set has 7 signed headliner cards, each bearing a physical actor signature beside a character portrait. They are inserted at random into Collector Boosters.

TrekMovie.com puts each signature below 250 copies; ICv2 gives 250 copies per signature. Signed cards are always English, including those found in Collector Boosters sold in other languages.

Signers include Patrick Stewart, Kate Mulgrew and William Shatner. Brent Spiner, Ethan Peck, LeVar Burton and Jeri Ryan also signed cards.

The set draws from across Star Trek, including animated series and the Kelvin timeline. Kirk, Data, Picard and Spock receive legendary cards, while ships include the Enterprise.

Booster, bundle and deck prices

The listed product prices on October 20, 2026, were:

Commander decks center on Picard, the Borg Queen, Worf and Spock. Each version contains 100 cards.

On October 20, 2026, standard Commander decks were listed from $74.99, with Collector’s Editions at $159.99. ComicBook.com lists 32 new cards per deck; TrekCore gives 31 rare and 2 mythic rare new cards.

Each deck includes a borderless lead commander. Standard decks use traditional foil for that card, while Collector’s Editions use surge foil. Non-foil copies appear in Collector Boosters.

Beam Me Up Bundle and scene boxes

The Beam Me Up Bundle pairs 2 traditional foil ship promos with 1 Collector Booster and 8 Play Boosters. Its promo pool contains 8 Spacecraft cards with schematic-style art.

At the October 20, 2026, listed prices, those boosters separately total $93.91. The $99.99 bundle costs $6.08 more and includes the ship promos.

Scene Boxes depict either Q causing trouble on the bridge or Enterprise characters with alternate faces. Each box contains 6 new scene cards in traditional foil. Non-foil versions of those cards appear in Collector Boosters.

Separate scene treatments also appear across the booster set. Their connected artwork includes moments such as Janeway’s assimilation in “Unimatrix Zero.”

The booster scene cards include 7 mythic rares, 10 uncommons and 8 rares. Both booster formats contain non-foil and traditional foil versions.

LCARS, stardates and Klingon script

All 10 shock lands receive LCARS frames inspired by the Enterprise computer interface. Their art shows planetary landscapes from Star Trek.

Other LCARS frame cards include 8 mythic rares, 7 uncommons and 14 rares. LCARS cards appear as non-foils and traditional foils in both booster formats. Surge foil copies appear only in Collector Boosters.

The borderless stardates treatment covers 30 mythic rare reprints with Star Trek art. General Picard, Earth Warlord, for example, uses Kenrith’s card design.

Both booster formats contain non-foil stardates cards. Collector Boosters alone contain their traditional foil versions.

Klingon frame cards include 3 rares, 1 common and 6 uncommons. Their standard versions appear in both booster formats, as non-foils and traditional foils.

Klingon script versions appear only in Collector Boosters, always in traditional foil. Their language stays Klingon regardless of the booster’s language.

Enterprise art and land treatments

Classic Enterprise treatments draw on vintage Star Trek film posters. The treatment covers 6 mythic rares, 5 uncommons and 13 rares.

Both booster formats contain non-foil and foil copies. Collector Boosters also contain surge foil versions.

Full-art basic lands use holodeck and away team themes. Other borderless lands depict ships and destinations, spanning 1 mythic rare and 5 rares. Both booster formats contain those borderless lands as non-foils and traditional foils.

The main set contains 25 mythic rares, 81 commons, 80 rares and 110 uncommons. It also includes 10 common dual lands and 10 basic lands with default frames.

What to do

  • Check whether a Commander listing is standard or Collector’s Edition. The lead commander’s foil finish differs between them.
  • Confirm the specific treatment on a booster listing. Signed headliners, Klingon script cards and surge foil LCARS cards are Collector Booster exclusives.
  • Compare the Beam Me Up Bundle’s listed contents with the standard Bundle. The Beam Me Up version includes schematic ship promos.
