Wizards of the Coast revealed its Star Trek Secret Lair lineup on October 27, 2026. Collectors can choose themed reprints with transporter scenes, Klingon text, full-art lands and Lower Decks characters.
Each revealed drop has foil and non-foil versions. The announced prices on October 27, 2026, were $39.99 for foil and $29.99 for non-foil. The foil version costs $10.00 more per drop.
The Secret Lair release opens for direct-to-consumer preorder on November 9, 2026, according to ICv2. Orders will run exclusively through the Secret Lair Marketplace while supplies last.
Transporter scenes and Klingon text
Beam Me Up uses reversible art to show a transporter rescue. A character appears in danger on one side, then inside the transporter bay on the reverse.
Conjurer’s Closet takes the name “The Transporter.” Eerie Interlude becomes “Beam Us Up,” while Essence Flux appears as “Materialize.” Momentary Blink keeps its original name and also receives the reversible treatment.
The Klingon-themed tlhIngan maH drop uses Klingon script on its cards. English text appears on the reverse side, so the treatment includes both languages.
Warstorm Surge and Demand Answers are among its reprints. The selection also includes Seething Song, War’s Toll and Relentless Assault. Each receives the reversible treatment.
Bleeding Cool News says another mystery drop will be revealed later.
New Worlds and Khan
New Worlds puts Star Trek planets on full-art basic lands. It includes Forest and Island alongside Plains, Mountain and Swamp. Each type appears twice, with Wastes excluded.
KHAAAAAAAAN draws on The Wrath of Khan and The Search for Spock. Its cards use scenes tied to Khan, sacrifice and the films’ central rivalry.
Wrath of the Skies receives the alternate title “Best Served Cold.” Illusionist’s Gambit becomes “Reliant’s Betrayal,” while Commandeer keeps its existing name.
Fracture and Genesis Wave also appear in the drop. Buried Alive completes the announced selection. Like New Worlds, the film-themed drop has both foil and non-foil versions at the announced prices.
Lower Decks aboard the Cerritos
Lower Decks gives its crew alternate-name reprints, along with a card for their ship. The drop includes 4 legendary creature cards and a legendary artifact.
Mariner appears on Inti, Seneschal of the Sun, under the name “Mariner, Breaching Protocol.” Boimler appears on a Kambal reprint as “Boimler, Citing Protocol.”
Silas Renn, Seeker Adept becomes “Rutherford, Rebuilding the Past.” Thrasios, Triton Hero receives the name “Tendi, Exploring the Future.” Weatherlight represents the Cerritos as a California-class ship.
The preorder date and foil promo
The purchase promo is a foil Return of the Wildspeaker with the alternate name “Transporter Boondoggle.” Buyers receive a copy for every $199 spent.
The broader Magic Star Trek set has a store release date of November 13, 2026. The release calendar listed that date as of October 12, 2026. Secret Lair preorders begin 4 days before that store release.
