Panini Select splits its base set into tiers of 100 cards, each scarcer than the one below it. The 2025 football set, released February 19, 2026, has five: Concourse, Premier Level, Club Level, Suite Level and Field Level, numbered in that order from 1 to 500. Basketball’s hobby tiers end with Courtside. The tiers also change the parallels: the same color can carry a smaller print run in a higher tier, so a Select card’s number matters as much as its color.
How do the Select tiers work?
Each tier owns a block of 100 card numbers. The five football tiers grow rarer as they go up, and the box lists show where each one turns up:
| 2025 football tier | Card numbers | Parallel versions | Where it appears in boxes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Concourse | 1 to 100 | 52 | 10 in H2, 12 in mega, 10 in blaster |
| Premier Level | 101 to 200 | 51 | 6 in H2, 6 in mega, 4 in blaster |
| Club Level | 201 to 300 | 49 | 2 in H2 |
| Field Level | 401 to 500 | 20 | 2 in hobby |
Suite Level is cards 301 to 400 with 27 parallel versions.
The higher tiers also come in fewer kinds of parallel.
Two families stop partway up. The Prizm Shock versions appear only in the first three tiers, and the Disco versions in the first four. Unnumbered colors such as Silver, Tiger, Zebra and Cosmic run through all five.
Why does one color have different runs?
Because each tier sets its own runs. This table follows a few colors up the 2025 football tiers:
| Prizm color | Concourse | Premier Level | Club Level | Suite Level | Field Level |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tri-Color | 399 | 299 | 249 | 199 | 99 |
| Blue | 249 | 175 | 99 | 99 | 75 |
| Pink | 10 | 8 | 6 | 4 | 1 |
| White | 35 | 35 | 35 | 35 | 35 |
| Tie-Dye | 25 | 25 | 25 | 25 | 25 |
| Gold | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 |
| Green | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 |
| Black | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
Some colors shrink as the tier rises and others hold one run everywhere. That has a practical side. A Blue Prizm numbered to 99 could be a Club Level or a Suite Level card, while a Gold numbered to 10 could come from any of the five tiers. A serial number alone does not tell you which card you are looking at; the card number does. Our guide to sports card parallels explains how numbered colors work in general.
Who appears in each tier?
Many players appear more than once. In the 2025 football edition, the 500 cards show 350 different players. 231 of them appear in just one tier, and four, Ashton Jeanty, Jaxson Dart, Travis Hunter and Cam Ward, appear in all five. Omarion Hampton, for example, is card 2, 102, 202 and 402.
So “Cam Ward Select” in a listing could be any of five base cards before parallels are counted. Cam Ward’s Concourse card is number 26 and his Premier Level card number 126. Read the number on the back, then check it against the tier blocks above.
What is in a 2025 Select football box?
| Format | Packs per box | Cards per pack | Boxes per case |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hobby | 12 | 5 | 12 |
| H2 | 4 | 6 | 20 |
| Mega | 6 | 7 | 20 |
| Blaster | 6 | 4 | 20 |
- Hobby: 2 autographs, 1 memorabilia card, 2 Field Level cards, 15 parallels and 6 inserts. By Rip.fan’s arithmetic, a hobby box holds 60 cards, and those listed items account for 26 of them.
- H2: 10 Concourse, 6 Premier Level and 2 Club Level cards, plus 4 Disco and 2 Silver parallels.
- Mega: 12 Concourse and 6 Premier Level cards, 6 inserts, 2 Silver Shock parallels and 10 more parallels, called mega exclusives.
- Blaster: 10 Concourse and 4 Premier Level cards, 3 inserts and 4 parallels.
A 1st Off the Line (FOTL) hobby box includes a Neon Orange Pulsar autograph, numbered to 45, and a Tiger or Neon Orange Pulsar parallel. Inserts land in every other hobby pack, which fits the 6 inserts across 12 packs. Our guide to hobby and retail boxes explains why formats carry different cards.
What autographs does Select football have?
Several sets: Select Signatures (85 cards), Signatures (57), Rookie Signatures (39), Rookie Signature Memorabilia (47, numbered to 249 or fewer) and Jumbo Rookie Signature Swatches (42, numbered to 249 or fewer). Not every card comes in every version. The 2025 football edition names each player’s NFL team.
How does Select basketball differ?
It names its tiers differently, and the sources do not agree on how many there are. For 2024-25 basketball, released June 18, 2025, a hobby box is 12 packs of 5 cards, 12 boxes to a case, with 3 autographs or relics, 12 Prizm parallels and 3 inserts.
The edition’s tiers include Concourse, Premier Level and Courtside, numbered 1 to 100, 101 to 200 and 201 to 300. The parallels include Black Finite (1 of 1), Green (5), Gold (10) and Tie-Dye (25), and Concourse alone has at least 67 parallels.
The 2025-26 basketball edition loses the official NBA team and league logos and shows its players in airbrushed images.
How to check a Select card before you buy

- For a Prizm Shock or Disco card, confirm the tier is one that has the family.
- Measure the borders with our centering checker.
- Price the exact card, tier and color from recent sales, as our guide to finding what a card sold for explains.
Rip.fan’s card price lookup covers English Pokémon cards only, so sold listings are where to price Select. If you sell on Whatnot, the seller fee calculator shows what you keep after its fees.
