What we found in our test
- Free packWe opened the free pack Gotya gives new users and sold its card back to Gotya. The table above shows what Gotya listed the card at.
- What we were toldIn our test we were told a new account must add money within 7 days of the free pack, or its card goes back to Gotya. Gotya's FAQ now says such a card is kept 48 hours, then sold back for store credit, unless you add funds.

How we scored it
Our own use of Gotya was one free pack, whose card we sold back. The scores come from what Gotya publishes about its packs, fees, trade-in offers, withdrawals, shipping and support, and from the public company record, and a criterion none of those covers is left out. This review is a human and AI collaboration: AI read Gotya’s pages and our test notes and wrote the review from them, under the rules people set for the site.
What stood out
Gotya is open about what is in its packs. Each pack page prints its card rates and keeps them in step with what is left in the pool. Selling a card back is quick, since an accepted offer lands in your balance straight away, and anyone who joins through our link starts with a free pack.
How it works
Gotya sells packs of graded cards, holds the cards in its own vault, and runs a card marketplace and auctions beside its packs. On October 18, 2026, it listed 19 packs from $15 to $500. Pokémon packs covered the whole price range, with a limited Pokémon pack at $30 among them, and One Piece packs and baseball, football and soccer packs each ran from $25 to $100.
- Add money by bank transfer or card.
- Pick a pack and read its card rates.
- Open it. The pack shows you the card it holds.
- Decide. Take the trade-in offer within the time shown, list the card on the marketplace, keep it in the vault, or ask for a graded card to be shipped.
The cards come graded by PSA or CGC, each with its certificate number, and raw cards turn up too. A certificate number lets you look a card up with its grading company, and our guide to checking a graded card’s cert shows how.
The free pack for new users
Sign up through our link and your first pack is free, with the same card pool and card rates as Gotya’s paid pack of that tier. You can sell its card back to Gotya, and shipping it home opens up after your first payment.
Add funds soon if you want to keep that card. A card from an account with no funds added is kept for 48 hours, then sold back for store credit, which pays for packs but cannot be withdrawn. During our test we were told the window was 7 days. Our partner offers page has the offer and its terms.
Card rates and what a pack holds
Every Gotya pack page prints its value bands, each with the share of packs that fall in it, and the figures follow the cards still in that pack’s pool, so they can move between one visit and the next. Go by the numbers on the page at the moment you buy.
Trade-in offers and selling
Each time a pack opens, Gotya offers to buy the card back, and taking the offer is up to you. A graded card gets 90% of its fair market value and a raw card its full value, and an accepted offer can go on from your balance to your PayPal account. Make up your mind before the offer’s time runs out, since a later offer can use a different share.
If you leave cards in the vault, log in now and then. After 180 days with no activity and at least two emails, Gotya can turn the cards still in its vault into account credit at that day’s trade-in rate.
The trade-in offer is not the only way to sell. Gotya’s marketplace lets you list a vaulted card for other buyers with no seller fee, and it runs auctions too, where the buyer adds a 10% premium to the final bid. Our guide to judging an instant trade-in offer explains how to set an offer beside recent sold prices, and our guide to selling a card straight from a rip site’s vault compares the routes.
Fees and shipping
Topping up by card can add a small surcharge, and a bank transfer in costs nothing. Money comes out one way, to a PayPal account in your own verified name. Gotya reviews each request before paying it, the whole process takes 4 to 5 business days, and there is a minimum balance before you can ask. Money in your balance sits in Gotya’s operating account, not a separate client account.
To get graded cards in hand, ask for up to 20 in one box. Gotya may check your ID first, then sends the box from the USA with tracking 8 to 10 business days after your request, to the countries its shipping form lists. One fee covers shipping, packaging and handling, set by the cards’ total value: $24.95 up to $1,000, $39.95 up to $5,000, $79.95 up to $25,000 and $149.99 above that. Customs and import fees are yours to pay. A raw card cannot be shipped, so plan to sell a raw card back if one turns up.
Support and track record
Support answers by email, and Gotya says replies usually come within 1 to 2 business days. There is no phone line or live chat. A limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales runs the site from a London office, and it has been on the UK company register since 2023.
Who it suits
Gotya fits a collector of Pokémon, One Piece or sports graded cards who reads a pack’s numbers before opening it and likes to sell a card back in a couple of taps, with the money in the balance straight away.
