Box break

A box break is a live opening of sealed boxes or cases in which buyers each pay for a spot, often a team, and receive that spot's cards. The seller streams the opening.

In more detail

A breaker, who works like a card shop behind its counter, lists a product such as a box or a case and opens the sale of spots. Each buyer pays for a spot. In a team break the spot is a team, and the buyer receives the cards of that team.

The product is opened on a live stream, so buyers can watch the cards come out, and each card goes to whoever holds the matching spot. The cards are then shipped. In some breaks not every card is sent: autographs and numbered cards ship, while base cards may be left out.

Check what the break sells before you pay: the product, the number of boxes, how spots are assigned and which cards ship. A team spot receives only that team's cards, so the price should reflect that team's players and the product.
