Published Updated 3 min readRavensburger scheduled Hyperia City’s wider release for October 23, 2026. The Disney Lorcana set introduces Coco characters, ink drops and city-themed artwork, including new Iconic cards featuring Mickey Mouse and Cinderella.
The retail launch follows the October 16, 2026, prerelease at hobby stores and select Disney Parks and stores. Mass retailers join the wider release window.
Ravensburger announced that schedule on September 22, 2026, in its Hyperia City announcement. The dates leave 7 days between the early release and the broader retail launch.
Coco arrives in the Marigold District
Hyperia City gives Coco its Lorcana debut. Characters from the film appear in Ruby, Amber and Amethyst, with its music also represented in the set.
Miguel and Héctor Rivera’s story informs those cards. The artwork draws on their journey and the film’s focus on honoring ancestors.
Within Hyperia City, Coco’s characters gather in the Marigold District. Musical street performances give that neighborhood its own setting within the larger city.
Other parts of the set feature familiar Disney Princesses and Mickey Mouse. Ravensburger also described Dreamborn versions of Disney and Pixar characters across the artwork.
The city combines a modern urban setting with fantasy. Shops, street music and nightlife form part of its backdrop, alongside the neighborhoods shown on individual cards.
Old Towne Hyperia sits within that setting, as do the Wandering Straits and City Center. Cards place characters in different boroughs instead of using a single backdrop throughout the set.
Mickey and Cinderella receive Iconic artwork
Mickey Mouse’s Iconic card carries the title Best in Town. Cinderella’s is titled Unintentional Icon.
Ravensburger describes Iconic as the rarest Lorcana card tier. Mickey’s artwork had already appeared at D23 before the September 22, 2026, set announcement.
The Enchanted cards also draw on city nightlife. Their scenes include a concert moment and a character working late on a personal project.
Ravensburger tied those illustrations to the idea of a night around town. The artwork extends the city’s theme beyond its streets and into its characters’ activities.
Ink drops connect the academy and the cards
An academy on the city’s edge adds a research setting to Hyperia City. Its name brings together genius, imagination and creativity.
Honey Lemon appears there alongside other Big Hero 6 characters. They research and experiment with ink drop technology within the set’s story.
Ink drops also form the set’s new mechanic. Each provides temporary ink for a single use, including use toward cards from a hand.
Other cards can use ink drops for additional effects. Ravensburger made this mechanic a central focus of Hyperia City’s design.
The prerelease box includes a city map
Ravensburger detailed the prerelease box on October 8, 2026. It combines boosters with a promo, accessories and an item tied to the city setting.
The map depicts Hyperia City and accompanies 6 booster packs. A promo selected at random is also included, along with 4 damage dice.
Ravensburger presented the map as the box’s story-related extra. The announcement placed the prerelease boxes at store events beginning October 16, 2026.
What to do
- Check whether the product listing offers regular boosters or the Hyperia City prerelease box with its map and promo.
- Confirm that the prerelease box description includes 6 boosters and 4 damage dice, not just the pictured accessories.
