Bandai’s Dragon Ball Super Fusion World rarities are L for a Leader, then C, UC, R, SR and SCR. On the cards checked, the label sits in a colored box just under the card number, in the bottom right corner, and an alt-art keeps the same number and label and adds a star. The Super Alt-Arts checked carry two. Bandai counts card types, not versions, so the 123 types in its FB11 booster become 162 entries on its card list. A booster pack holds 12 cards.

Which rarities does Fusion World use?

Fusion World has seven rarity labels, and six of them appear in the booster sets:

Label Name Types in each of FB09, FB10 and FB11
L Leader 5
C Common 40
UC Uncommon 35
R Rare 25
SR Super Rare 15
SCR Secret Rare 3

The counts add up to each set’s 123 card types. The seventh label, PR, marks promotion cards, which sit apart from the boosters. A Leader is a card type as much as a rarity, and each FB booster from FB03 to FB11 holds five.

Our glossary entries on a booster pack, a secret rare and a promo card explain those terms across card games.

How do you read the rarity on the card?

Look at the bottom right corner, under the card number. The card images in Bandai’s database show four patterns on the cards checked:

Version What the corner shows Card checked
Standard print The card number, with the label in a colored box below it FB11-004: UC
Alt-art The same number, with a star inside the box FB11-004 alt-art: UC★
Super Alt-Art The same number, with two stars FB11-121 Super Alt-Art: SCR★★
Collaboration reprint in a later set The original set’s number, with one star FB02-044 in FB05’s list: SR★

Leaders follow the same pattern: FB11-001 shows L and its alt-art L★, and the Super Alt-Art of FB09-001 shows L★★. These readings cover only the images named, so check the card in your hand as well.

Bandai’s One Piece cards mark alt-arts differently. Our One Piece rarities guide shows the star sitting above the rarity box there. On the Fusion World cards checked, it sits inside the box, after the letters.

What does each booster set hold?

Each booster set has its own card count. Through FB08, each set’s count is given by rarity.

FB09 Dual Evolution (March 13, 2026), FB10 Cross Force (June 12, 2026), FB11 Brightness of Hope (October 16, 2026) and FB12 Reach the God (December 18, 2026) hold 123 card types each.

FB11 and FB12 were still ahead of their release dates on October 12, 2026, and release schedules can change.

The table shows the mix shifting. Commons fell from 52 types in FB01 and FB03 to 40 from FB05 on, and Super Rares rose from 12 to 15 in FB07. The Secret Rares went from 2 to 3 in FB09, FB10 and FB11.

How many versions does a set really hold?

More than its type count. Each version gets its own entry, so by rarity the FB11 entries are:

Rarity Card types Alt-art entries Super Alt-Art entries
Leader 5 5 0
Common 40 0 0
Uncommon 35 5 0
Rare 25 8 0
Super Rare 15 15 0
Secret Rare 3 3 3
All 123 36 3

That makes 162 entries. FB10 has the same shape. FB09 has 164, because two of its Leaders also come as Super Alt-Arts, which Bandai presents as a new rarity from FB09. Those cards keep the L label.

FB01’s list is a useful contrast. Its 23 alt-arts sit only on Leaders, Super Rares and Secret Rares, with none on an Uncommon or a Rare.

So the label alone cannot tell the versions apart. An entry marked SR can be the standard print or its alt-art, and an entry marked SCR can be any of three versions in a recent set. Check the stars and the art too. Our alternate art and card number entries cover those terms.

What special versions does Bandai add?

  • Visual Alt-Arts. FB07 introduced alt-arts showing iconic scenes from the Dragon Ball series, and FB08 to FB11 have them again.
  • Leader, Super Rare and Secret Rare alt-arts. In FB05 and FB07 to FB11, every Leader and every Super Rare in the set has an alt-art, and FB01’s card list already shows one for each. In FB05 the usual single Super Alt-Art Secret Rare grew to two, and FB09 to FB11 give a Super Alt-Art to each of their three Secret Rares.
  • Special reprints. FB02 to FB06 include a few earlier cards in a new design; FB02 has four in an ink-brush style.
  • Collaboration cards. FB05 and FB06 each include 10 cards with art from a Dragon Ball mobile app, and FB11 has a crossover with another Dragon Ball mobile title. A collaboration reprint keeps its original number: FB05 holds FB02-044, which carries one star and the app’s logo.
  • Manga Boosters. Manga Booster 01 (June 27, 2025) and 02 (November 14, 2025) have alt-arts featuring Akira Toriyama’s manga illustrations. Each adds 21 energy markers in designs found only in that product, and SB01 was the first booster to hold energy markers. SB01 lists 110 card types plus the 21 markers, while SB02 lists 132 types with the markers counted in.
  • Story Booster 01. Released August 21, 2026, with 85 types. Those are 5 Leaders (3 new and 2 reprints), 36 Commons, 20 Rares, 10 Super Rares, 2 Secret Rares and 12 energy markers, with no Uncommons. It brought two firsts for the game: a Dragon Ball themed holofoil version of each of the 36 Commons, and alt-art Leaders with foil on both sides.

What does a pack hold?

Twelve cards, in every booster from FB01 to FB12 and the Manga and Story Boosters. The pages for FB01 to FB10 and both Manga Boosters also list a promotion code for Bandai’s digital version in each pack; the pages for Story Booster 01, FB11 and FB12 list the 12 cards alone.

Read the pack count on the label of the booster box itself.

Does the rarity tell you what a card sells for?

Not on its own. A Super Rare and its alt-art share a number and a label but are listed separately, so match the version before you compare prices. TCGplayer said on February 1, 2024 that Fusion World cards could be listed on its marketplace, so its sold listings are one place to look.
