Mega Evolution

In more detail

Bulbapedia lists the first expansion of the series, also called Mega Evolution, as released worldwide on September 26, 2025, with delivery problems pushing its release in Europe, the Middle East and Africa to October 10. It gives the set 188 cards against a printed total of 132, so 56 of its cards are numbered above that total.

A Mega Evolution Pokémon ex pictures the Mega form of its Pokémon, and Bulbapedia says its name is printed in yellow lettering with a black border. The Pokémon TCG's product guide describes two rarities the series added: the mega hyper rare, with gold-etched holographic art, and the mega attack rare, marked with pink and green stars and a large graphic of the Japanese attack name.

Earlier Pokémon cards showed Mega forms too. Bulbapedia says the M Pokémon-EX cards of the XY era are a separate card type, so check the name and the set before you buy: the new cards are named with a lowercase ex and the older ones with a capital EX.
