Topps released 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball on November 5, 2026, with new-team stars, rookie cards and format-specific parallels. Hobby boxes were listed at $179.99 on November 6, 2026.

The base checklist puts LeBron James in a Philadelphia 76ers uniform and Giannis Antetokounmpo with the Miami Heat. Both receive their first flagship cards with their new teams. Rookie cards and retired stars also appear across the 300-card set.

Hobby, Jumbo and retail boxes

The hobby and retail formats have distinct pack counts and exclusive parallels. A Hobby box has 20 packs, each holding 12 cards, for 240 cards overall. Each box includes an autograph or a memorabilia card.

Jumbo boxes contain 10 packs with 28 cards apiece. Each includes an autograph and a relic. Sandglitter parallels belong to the Jumbo format, while Hobby boxes have exclusive Victory parallels and Player Number Variations.

Rainbow parallels appear in both Hobby and Jumbo boxes. Their exclusive insert selection includes Levitation and Comic Court, plus New School, From the Vault and The Daily Dribble.

Value boxes offer 6 packs, with 12 cards in each. Season Tip Off parallels are exclusive to that format. Topps offered Hobby and blaster boxes on November 5, 2026.

Mega boxes follow on November 12, 2026, 7 days after the main release. Each Mega contains 12 packs of 15 cards, with 4 inserts using the 1981-82 design. Listings on Amazon offered Prime members free shipping on November 5, 2026.

Rookie cards and new uniforms

AJ Dybantsa and Cameron Boozer are among the rookies receiving their first official rookie cards. Darryn Peterson and Caleb Wilson also appear, while Keaton Wagler joins the rookie checklist.

The veteran selection includes Cooper Flagg and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Jalen Brunson, Victor Wembanyama and Stephen Curry also have base cards.

The base set has several short-printed variation types. New Clear Variations join Wood versions and Golden Mirror image variations. Team and player-number versions add further variations to the checklist.

Bounce and the 1981-82 design

Bounce inserts have a surface made to feel like a basketball. Quest for the Crown features teams contending for a championship. Gold 1/1 All Kings cards make their NBA debut among the set’s super short prints.

The 1981-82 Topps design appears with current stars and rookies. Signed versions also use the throwback design, extending it beyond the standard inserts included in Mega boxes.

Poster Factory centers on dunkers. Drivers features players moving toward the basket. Both join the broader insert lineup alongside the textured cards and vintage-style designs.

Signed cards and memorabilia

The product’s autographs, relics and short prints span rookie subjects, veteran stars and scarce insert versions. The autograph checklist includes Nikola Jokić, LeBron James and Jalen Brunson.

Rookie Photo Shoot Autographs provide a signed rookie option. Other autograph sets include New Applicants and Flagship Real One Autographs.

Game-used memorabilia subjects include Anthony Edwards and Luka Dončić, along with Curry and Wembanyama. Franchise Fabrics is part of the memorabilia lineup. Roundball Remnants, Own the Game and Flagship Real One Relics also appear.

What to do

  • Check whether a Hobby listing promises an autograph or relic, or a Jumbo listing includes both.
  • Compare the format named in a listing with its exclusive parallels: Victory for Hobby, Sandglitter for Jumbo and Season Tip Off for Value.
  • Confirm that a Mega listing specifies 12 packs of 15 cards and 4 inserts using the 1981-82 design.
  • Check whether an Amazon Mega listing includes the Prime shipping term offered on November 5, 2026.
