Full art
A full art card has a picture that covers the whole face of the card, with the text laid over it. Pokémon has printed them since the Black & White series, usually as reprints of cards from the same set.
In more detail
On an ordinary card the picture sits in a box with the text beneath it. On a full art card the picture runs edge to edge. Pokémon introduced them with the Black & White series, first in Japan's Black Collection and White Collection sets.
In Japan every full art card is a secret card, numbered above the set total, while English sets placed them at the end of the set. English full art Pokémon-GX and Pokémon V cards also carry an embossed texture.
Full art describes the layout and not the scarcity. Read the set, the number and the rarity mark as well, since a full art card can be a plain reprint or one of a set's rarest cards.
