How Rips by Triumph and TiltRips differ

Triumph lives on your phone, and its opening scenes are a big part of why we keep going back. It carries baseball, basketball and football next to Pokémon and One Piece, and among the cards we have had shipped from it are PSA-graded baseball slabs. TiltRips sells Pokémon, One Piece and sports packs too, and runs in a browser as well as in its iPhone and Android apps.

The two part ways on what happens to a card you keep. Triumph wants each card shipped or traded in soon after it opens, and it got our cards to UPS quickly, one card to a box. TiltRips sets no clock: a card waits in its vault at no charge, held by its security partners, until you sell it back, list it on its marketplace or have it shipped to your door.

Every TiltRips card also shows its live market value and its price history, so you can watch a card for a while before you sell it back or list it.

Open at Triumph for sports cards, for opening scenes worth watching and for keepers on a truck within days. TiltRips suits a collector who would sooner hold a card and sell back on their own schedule.
