How Rips by Triumph and Royale.gg differ
Both sites care how things look, and they spend that care in different places. Triumph puts it into the moment a pack opens. On the One Piece pack we opened, an iron-cornered chest with a skull and crossbones sat under water and the card rose up through it, and its Pokémon packs glow orange in a sky full of stars. Royale.gg saves its polish for the shop itself, a tidy page of boxes with a drawing for each.
What comes out differs even more. Every Triumph pack gives a real card, and ours came by UPS in a matte black box with an orange T on the lid. Royale.gg fills its boxes with things like a tuxedo, a laptop, personal watercraft and golf simulators, so a card collector there would be paying for boxes built around other things.
Shoppers after sneakers, a watch or a golf simulator have far more to look at on Royale.gg. Card collectors, and anyone who likes watching a pack open, will be happier in the Triumph app.
