How Boxed.gg and Phygitals differ
Both carry Pokémon, One Piece and Riftbound, plus sports. The Phygitals packs we saw also ran to Dragon Ball and Riftbound, with basketball and football among the sports. Boxed.gg's boxes add Magic: The Gathering and Lorcana, and the sports boxes we saw there were hockey, baseball and soccer. We paid for our hockey and baseball boxes there from the account balance.
Phygitals let us know its offer before we bought. Whether we opened on the website or the iPhone app, the offer on each card came in at the share the pack page had printed. Boxed.gg shows its own value for the card on the result screen beside a Sell button, and our hockey card sat face down until we clicked to turn it over.
Phygitals keeps cards in its PSA, Alt and Fanatics vaults, and which one holds a card sets how long a shipping request takes to process. Boxed.gg ships a card in a double sleeve and top loader inside a bubble mailer, with the shipping charge depending on where it goes, taken from the account balance. Anyone who opens packs on a phone, or wants Dragon Ball packs, should start with Phygitals. Boxed.gg is the place for hockey or Magic boxes.
