Hyperspace

Hyperspace is a version of a Star Wars: Unlimited card whose art shows more of the full illustration than the standard card's frame, and as of December 2025 every card had a Hyperspace and a Hyperspace-foil version.

Also called Hyperspace card.

In more detail

A January 2026 article on the Star Wars: Unlimited site says Hyperspace versions let you see the true landscape of a piece of art, not just the small frame of the standard card. Hyperspace is a version, not a rarity, so a Common can be a Hyperspace card as well as a Rare or a Legendary.

Packs changed with A Lawless Time. Fantasy Flight's December 2025 article says every pack from that set holds at least one Hyperspace card, including a Hyperspace Common, and one Hyperspace-foil, where Hyperspace Commons had turned up about once every 3 packs before. It also says foils with the normal black border will no longer be made.

Carbonite Edition packs, a premium format, are built from variants: a January 2025 article on the site says all 16 cards in one have a treatment such as foil, Hyperspace or Showcase. When you buy or list a card, name its version as well as its rarity, because one card can come in several versions.
