How GrailCart and Phygitals differ
GrailCart goes a level deeper on its pack pages. Reading one, a Pokémon buyer can see whether the exact slabs they want are in that pack before paying. Phygitals sorts each pack into value ranges and says how often each range turns up, which is enough to judge a pack's range of values.
The two overlap on Pokémon and nowhere else. Everything we saw at GrailCart was Pokémon, while Phygitals reaches from One Piece and Dragon Ball to basketball, football, baseball and soccer, so a sports collector will find nothing of theirs at GrailCart.
Our three shipping requests at Phygitals, one of them holding five cards, each moved along a four-step bar on its orders screen until a tracking number appeared. Until we asked, the cards waited in its vaults. We found neither a vault nor a market between collectors at GrailCart.
GrailCart is the Pokémon specialist's stop, for someone who reads a full checklist before buying. Phygitals covers everyone else, sports collectors most of all.
