How Collector Crypt and Rips by Triumph differ
Collector Crypt lays a pack open before checkout. Its pack pages set out the range of values a pack can give and the trade-in share, and its item values come from pricing data drawn from ALT, eBay and other platforms. Rips by Triumph's pack page marks the floor and ceiling of a pack, with a link to its contents, and Triumph values every card itself.
Offers follow the same pattern. Triumph offers a card's app value in full, and on the One Piece card we opened in the app, offer and value matched to the cent. Collector Crypt names a share below full value, set per pack, against values built from outside pricing data. So on Collector Crypt you know the cut before you buy, and on Triumph you get the whole figure, but the figure is Triumph's.
Storage splits them as well. You can mail graded cards from your own shelf to Collector Crypt for its vault, which suits a collector who wants slabs held with a busy market around them. Triumph is built to send cards out by UPS, and the app keeps nothing for long.
Choose Collector Crypt if you like to study a pack before buying and have graded cards that need a home. Rips by Triumph is for people who open for the moment the card turns over and want the keepers mailed fast.
