Arena Club vs Courtyard

We recommend neither. At Arena Club our shipping payment was declined on every method we tried, so our card never left. At Courtyard, shipping one card would have cost $10 to $25 on top of the pack. Courtyard's range is far wider, and its app and site worked well for us.

How Arena Club and Courtyard differ

We recommend neither of these, and we bought packs at both. At Arena Club the trouble started when we tried to get a card out. Money already in the account could not cover shipping, a fresh payment was declined by every card and payment service we tried, and the instant offer on the card vanished as soon as shipping failed. Neither of its listing tools, fixed price or auction, would put the card up for sale either.

At Courtyard, shipping is a second bill after the pack, and ticking package coverage at checkout more than doubled ours, with nearly all of the rise in postage. Selling there looked easier, with the marketplace fee struck through and marked free on the listing screen and a trade center for swapping cards, though each instant offer came marked fee included without saying how big the fee was.

Money can get stranded at both. Our Arena Club test ended with a balance still in the account, and taking money out needs an identity check. At Courtyard, a leftover smaller than the cheapest pack can't buy anything. If you only want to open packs and leave the cards on the site, Courtyard gave us far less trouble. For cards in hand, look past both. Phygitals had our cards on the way within days of each order.
