How Collector Crypt and Ripz differ
Collector Crypt is a slab shop. Every pack gives one graded card or one graded watch, and its range runs from Pokémon and One Piece through Riftbound to sports. Ripz sticks to Pokémon, One Piece and Lorcana, and its collection page and card market sort by those three brands, which makes it easy to narrow either one to Lorcana.
Collector Crypt states its trade-in share up front on each pack page, and you know the offer before spending a cent. Ripz has sell buttons next to the ship button on its collection page, with no terms beside them on our visit, which leaves recent sales of the same card as your only yardstick for what they pay.
On Collector Crypt, collectors list graded cards for each other, and the marketplace was very active when we looked. On Ripz the card market is where you buy singles. Lorcana fans, and anyone who enjoys the busy chat beside every Ripz page, should go to Ripz. Pick Collector Crypt for graded cards with the offer stated up front and a place to keep the slabs you already have.
