Collector Crypt vs MrLoot

Both show card rates before you open: Collector Crypt by value range, MrLoot item by item. Collector Crypt sells sports cards and watch packs as well as Pokémon cards, keeps a vault you can send your own graded cards into and has a very active marketplace. MrLoot has boxes of tech items such as TVs, VR headsets and video consoles beside its Pokémon boxes.

How Collector Crypt and MrLoot differ

Collector Crypt's watches are graded and sold one to a pack, the same way as its slabs, so the whole site stays with graded collectibles. MrLoot's extras are TVs, VR headsets, video consoles and fashion, in boxes of their own beside the Pokémon ones, and even the Pokémon box we opened listed sealed boxes alongside single cards.

Collector Crypt tells you how often a pack lands in each value band, with the top band open-ended, and the bands move with the pack. Its sports card pack showed lower bands than its watch packs, which makes it the cheaper way in. MrLoot puts the rate on each item tile, so you can see how often the sealed box or the graded card on a list comes up.

We went through Collector Crypt's packs, its card checkout and its vault form on our own account, and at MrLoot a new account let us open two boxes free. Slab collectors, sports fans and watch buyers should head to Collector Crypt. A Pokémon fan with an eye on a new headset has a reason to try MrLoot.
