How the finder works
Trading cards come in two sizes. Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, Lorcana and many modern sports cards are standard size, which BCW gives as 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches. Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are smaller, at 2 5/16 by 3 3/8 inches. The finder names which makers put each card game in its size class, then lists the supplies sized for that class, with the dimensions each maker states. A few notes add Rip.fan's reading of a fit the maker does not spell out.
The counts are Rip.fan's arithmetic: one sleeve a card, one more if you double-sleeve, binder pages at 9 or 18 cards a page, rounded up, and albums at 50 pages each. Toploaders go five to a team bag, and a 500 count box holds about 720 TCG cards or about 450 sports cards of 20 pt, as BCW gives it. Sleeved cards take a little more room in a box.
Thickness is given in pt, as the makers give it. A standard toploader takes cards up to 35 pt, and thick cards such as relic and patch cards need a holder made for their thickness. Our guides to Pokémon card sizes, card sizes by game, sleeves and holders and building a binder cover each supply in more depth.
Where the figures come from
Every size and count comes from the makers' own product and help pages, and the semi-rigid size from TAG's packing rules, read on . A maker can change a product, so check the size printed on the pack.

Frequently asked questions
Do Yu-Gi-Oh! cards fit standard sleeves?
They go in, but loosely. Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are the smaller size, which BCW gives as 2 5/16 by 3 3/8 inches, and the makers sell 62 by 89 mm small or Japanese-size sleeves for them. A standard-size card will not go into a small sleeve.
What does 35 pt mean on a toploader?
It is the thickest card the holder takes. BCW puts most TCG cards and modern base sports cards at 20 pt or 35 pt, which fit its standard 3x4 toploader, and its thick toploaders run from 59 pt for slightly thicker cards to 360 pt for booklet cards.
How many pages go in a binder?
Ultra PRO advises no more than 50 pages on 2-inch rings, with no more than 18 cards a page, while BCW rates its 2-inch album for 60 pages. The finder counts albums at the lower figure, 50 pages each.
Are One Piece and Lorcana cards standard size?
Ultimate Guard lists both with standard-size cards such as Magic and Pokémon, for its 66 by 91 mm sleeves. BCW and Ultra PRO do not name them on the pages read, so the finder says the fit is Ultimate Guard's.
