Turnaround time is the estimated number of business days a grading company takes to finish an order once it has reached the company's facility.

It is an estimate, not a promise. CGC says its waits count working days for a submission delivered to its facility that day, and that they are estimates only and not guaranteed. Other companies give their own versions of the same figure.

Business days leave out weekends and holidays, so a wait of 90 business days runs about 18 weeks on a calendar. Add the days the box spends in the mail in each direction, because the clock starts when the order arrives, not when you ship it.
